Blending meditation & somatic practices, Amanda Graham has been a practitioner of mindfulness & yoga for ten years. Certified 200hr Yoga Teacher through Prajna Yoga & Yoga Alliance, she colorfully weaves traditional asanas with her love of free form dance, myofascial release, Feldenkrais, & Hanna Somatics. Many of her practices are floor based to allow the body to sense & feel into its present moment experience. She created Heart Felt Somatics as a way for people to intimately access & cultivate a heart/body/mind experience. Taking a class or private session with Amanda will awaken a deeper intimacy with your heart/body/mind as you find yourself becoming more open & receptive. There is the potential and possibility of releasing deeply held emotions & patterning in the body through somatic movement sessions. She has dedicated the last ten years of her life to the Dharma & mindfulness, living at various meditation centers & monasteries to deepen her practice. When not living with sangha, she can be found kayaking various bodies of water & living simply in nature which deeply nourishes her being.
